Still getting there, folks!

Thanks to the lovely ladies who left some encouragement in the gbook! Reading your comments in there really helped me pump out the last thousand words! I’m aiming for August 31st as my deadline to finish this chapter. If I haven’t finished it by then, I give all readers full permission to tie me to a tree and continuously poke me with a very sharp stick until I can verbally recite the rest of the chapter.

2,436 words written of the next chapter and counting! At this slow pace, August should see at least one real update! Yay!

Time flies much too quickly. As I was making sure the new layout was all in order, I made the observation that I haven’t updated my site with anything of substance since mid April! I wrote more on He Loves Me Not last November alone then what I’ve written since the end of NaNo. Shame on me! Even during my worst periods of writer’s block I’d never left my site updateless for so long (or I’m pretty sure I haven’t. Someone will probably tell me otherwise). Who else remembers the day where I’d have three chapters of all differents stories in one week? Ah, those were the days.

Anyway, I’m not here to promise a chapter in a certain time period like I usually do (because we all know how well I stick to my self appointed dead lines), but I just wanted to let you guys know that I really, TRULY am working on the next chapter. I scrapped everything I’d previously written for it and I’m trying a new approach which is coming a lot more naturally. Uni does start up again tomorrow which might interfere with my speed in spitting words out, but at least I know the major blockage I’ve been suffering has finally ceased! Drinks all round! =]

Thanks to those darling readers who’ve still been lovely enough to leave me love even after my terribly long absense; Scarlett, Renee, Jenna, Helen, London, Ditte, Lexi and Becca. And Katrina- happy birthday! I’m a little bit late, hope you enjoyed the special day!

Now- I must go attempt some serious writing! And hopefully, it won’t be too long before I’m back again with an update worth reading! One can only hope!
