I’ve always been a silent reader in hanfic, and never a writer. Up until this point in time, I was either too scared or embarrassed to make myself known, whether it was in signing guestbooks, joining forums, or writing a story of my own. Even now that I’m saying is, it’s still so difficult for me to put my first attempt at hanfic out here for everyone to read, and I’m sure most writers understand this. Readers can be critical, and even at times expectant of the standard of these stories, and no one wants theirs to be considered under the bench mark. This is why I don’t feel incredibly comfortable revealing too much of who I am, which I hope is an understandable approach. You may still find that this story lacks any good plot lines, descriptions or characters, but at least my name won’t be linked to them.
This doesn’t mean I’m ashamed- there is a big difference between shame and fear, hopefully a difference that is distinguishable in what I’m saying right now. If I were ashamed, I would never be writing this, never letting this unusual attempt at fiction be exposed to the world. Because I’m scared, I choose not to completely put my feelings on the line.
Some of you may discover who I am, some of you wouldn’t know and wouldn’t care, but I’m hoping all of you find some sense of enjoyment in my first ever hanfic. Thank you to Hayley for deciding to take on this story as a hostee, and to everyone who takes the time to read it. I love hanfic, and I hope it shows.

Hanson had fallen apart. Isaac, Taylor and Zac, who were once three people vying for the same musical dream, eventually found themselves so distant from one another that they may as well be living on separate planets. Isaac is tired of playing parent to a rebellious Zac, longing for more stability and normalcy in his lifestyle. Zac, completely bored with a meaningless and superficial existence, is sure that outside of fame and fortune there is something more exciting waiting for him. And Taylor, who is adamant he is the only one who even cares about music anymore, is driven in taking his career to the next level; as a solo artist.

Follow the Hanson brothers as they spiral into their separate adventures. Will Isaac find love and success unattached to the name Hanson? Can Taylor really be true to himself while rediscovering fame and fortune? And will Zac ever understand that modern day hippies are actually just unemployed stoners?

Will they allow passion, joy and inspiration to drive them back toward the dream they’d all so willingly abandoned?
